POUPEES NICETTE

Dalla Francia e più esattamente dalla fiorita Provenza arrivano queste bambole in stoffa della marca Poupées Nicette. Tratto distintivo l'espressione degli occhi, dipinti a mano e di colore nocciola, e della bocca, chiusa e leggermente imbronciata. I capelli sono in mohair, incollati nel caso della bambolina più piccola con testa in cartapesta e costume nizzardo, cuciti invece a strisce sul capo in telina della bambola grande (rara di questa dimensione). I corpi hanno braccia e gambe articolate.

From France and more exactly Provence here are shown these cloth dolls made by Poupées Nicette. Their distinctive features are: sweet brown hand painted eyes, closed mouth and serious pouty expression. Mohair hair wigs, glued on the papier-mache head of the small doll dressed in the costume of Nice, or sewn on the fabric moulded head of the large doll (quite hard to find in this size). Bodies have movable jointed arms and legs.
