RARE LARGE CLOTH NORWEGIAN DOLL by RONNAUG PETTERSSEN

From my personal collection a lovely ethnic doll with original regional outfit. Papier mache felt head is well sculpted, hand painted features are well preserved, stuffed cloth body, intricate outfit is complete and elaborate, metal ornament and beads.

MARK: this doll was created by the artist Ronnaug Petterssen.

SIZE: the lady is approx 33 cm ( 13 inches) high.

ORIGIN: this cloth doll is made in Norway, around 1930.

CONDITION: yellowing due to age on the white antique cotton apron and shirt, the mohair hair is quite fragile, some glue residue (hat is glued on head), slight tear on one ear, would benefit some attention, used doll as shown in photos.

Rare doll, difficult to find in this size, as most of Ronnaug Petterssen dolls were smaller, in the range of 6-7 in. SOLD

Wonderful Darla Poppy Parker with dark skin tone from the Fashion Royalty line, produced by Integrity Toys. She wears her earrings only. The doll is mint in box, she has been removed only to undress her and take photos. The box is in perfect conditions and the original stand is included. These fashion dolls are very collected as they are posable and can use also outfits from the Barbie dolls, being of the same size (approx 12 inches ). La mia passione per il mondo delle bambole cresce, anzi galoppa, e dalla bambole antiche sono passata ad interessarmi a quelle vintage: in primis barbie anni 60. Poi ho fatto il grande salto, le Fashion dolls moderne: barbie silkstone ma soprattutto Fashion royalty!!! Per il momento vi mostro alcuni acquisti recenti: tre FRANCIE dolls, quella al centro dai capelli sciolti brunetti con frangia in abito da sera fuxia è originale, quelle ai lati invece sono riproduzioni, comunque tutte assai carine.

Dalla mia collezione vi presento un bimbo di produzione tedesca 1910-30 con testa in biscuit, parrucca in mohair, corpo in composizione in cinque pezzi. Particolare la lingua visibile all'interno della bocca.
